PROYECTO RECIDENCIAL | TIGRE, BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
We proposed a large patio open to the canal and two volumes that surround it taking the directions of the sides of the land that not only maximized its use but also generated a relationship of openness towards the water.
The project had to resolve an expansion in stages, a condition that generated an opportunity for us to resolve a large double height at the heart of the house by linking two lateral volumes on the ground floor, and a possible future expansion.
We worked on a simple language of Reinforced Concrete throughout the house that results in a horizontal façade wrapping lateral walls and windows from beam to beam, resolving the enclosure of the house. Wood appears opportunely in floors, enclosures and parasols to transmit warmth when we saw fit.
It is an organic house with a simple layout and independent spaces linked by this large central patio where the main expansion of the house is located, which ends in the pool terraced to the river.
